Roadrunner Services
Sealcoating
Sealcoating involves applying one or two coats of a protective coating to protect the asphalt from deterioration. This beautifies the pavement and saves money long term compared to replacing asphalt.
Striping
Pavement striping also known as pavement marking is the process of applying paint, thermoplastics, or specialized tapes to asphalt or concrete surfaces to create lines, symbols, and patterns that guide traffic and delineate space.
Curbing
Concrete curbing, is a continuous, permanent border made of concrete that is used to define boundaries, and enhance the visual appearance of a property. We install new concrete curbing as well as remove and replace existing curbing that has deteriorated.
Slurry Seal
Slurry Seal is a preventative maintenance surface treatment applied to existing asphalt pavements to extend their life. It is a cold mix of asphalt emulsion and other materials. Type II is the most common type. It is used on residential streets to correct moderate wear and raveling.
Speed Bumps
Speed bumps in paving are traffic calming devices used to reduce vehicle speeds. Asphalt is the most common permanent solution; it integrates seamlessly with existing pavement. We also furnish and install rubber speed bumps upon request.
Overlay
An asphalt overlay is a process where a fresh layer of new asphalt is applied directly over the existing asphalt surface. This is a cost effective way of restoring the appearance and functionality of asphalt without the higher cost of a complete replacement.
Wheel Stops
Wheel stops, also known as parking blocks or bumpers are barriers placed at the end of parking spaces to prevent vehicles from overreaching the stall. We install new wheel stops as well as remove and replace existing wheel stops that have deteriorated.
Surface Patching
Surface patching repairs damaged areas of asphalt by removing failed sections and replacing them with new asphalt. This restores smoothness, improves safety, and helps prevent further deterioration of the pavement.
Utility Adjustment
Utility adjustment (also known as “raising to grade”) is the process of repositioning underground utility access points—such as manholes, water valves, and storm drains—to align perfectly with the elevation of a new pavement surface.
Paving
Fully remove the existing pavement structure down to the soil (subgrade) and replacing it entirely. This is usually done when an asphalt surface has deteriorated and aged beyond repair. We also stabilized the subgrade at an additional cost.
